This class is suitable for anyone over sixty with Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Total Knee Replacements and Total Hip Replacements or with any pain or injuries.
This class will include exercises in many different positions – lying on your back, lying face down, in four point kneeling, lying on your side, sitting and standing. If you are not comfortable with any of the above positions Louise can modify the exercise so you are comfortable. Soft balls, pillows and supportive bands can be used to make the exercises more comfortable. We are aware that kneeling can be a problem for some of our clients with arthritis and Total Knee Replacements so we can use pillows or you can do the exercise in standing holding onto support.
The class will focus on the following:
- Balance
- Mobility
- Strength
- Stiffness
- Massaging and loosening out those tight glutes, hamstrings, calves, feet and upper middle back areas
