Karen qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
She worked extensively in the NHS in the UK and specialised early on in her career in the realm of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
Whilst In the UK she worked within outpatient departments, orthopaedic wards and a pain management centre, amongst others. She had the specialist role of working as part of a lower limb service within an outpatients setting and was responsible for the management of all knee injuries referred to the department. Karen continues to have a passion for treating and rehabilitating knee and lower limb injuries.
Karen has also worked as a physiotherapist for the Metropolitan police service in London, treating police officers and staff members.
Karen moved to Dublin In 2006 and has worked in private practices since that time.
Karen integrates dry needling into her practice and is registered with the Irish Society of chartered physiotherapists. Her aim is to return you to pain free health as soon as possible.
