Paul

Paul has 20 years of teaching experience across the health, wellbeing and fitness industries, and he has been teaching Pilates on a full-time basis since 2003.
Initially qualifying as a professional dancer, Paul became involved in Pilates & Yoga, after realising his true interest lay in movement education and health, fitness and wellbeing.
Following an MA in Dance Performance at University of Limerick , Paul worked at DanceHouse / DanceIreland as teacher of Pilates, Yoga & Ballet-Barre.
Paul has taught Pilates and Yoga for many years and has developed a profile for offering high-quality training programs.
Maintaining a deep interest in ongoing training – “Paul is a Great teacher” – Mary Bowen – Pilates elder & direct student of Joseph Pilates.
Paul’s Pilates classes are enjoyable and creative, with an emphasis on rhythm and flow of movement.
While focusing on the Reformer repertoire, Paul likes to ensure that his classes are well-rounded and balanced, and provide a balanced workout for mind, body and spirit.
Paul draws upon many years, and a wide range, of teaching experience to ensure that everyone feels welcome, safe and secure in class and has an enjoyable movement experience during Pilates.
He firmly believes that “Change happens through movement and movement heals”.
When dealing with injuries, Paul believes that “Movement is Medicine” and a regular Pilates practice that is mindful and pain-free can be profoundly healing for mind and body.
Movement is Life.
Paul is a lifelong arts and music fan, especially the Beatles, though, usually, he doesn’t play their music during Pilates class!
