Sean Byrne

Chartered Physiotherapist (MISCP) and Pilates Teacher Reformer

Sean graduated from RCSI with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Management from UCD.
Sean has a strong interest in musculoskeletal injuries and sports injuries. He has experience working with sports teams, most recently with Faughs Senior Hurlers for 2018 and 2019.
Sean is also a lifelong participant in sport and he is currently Senior Gaelic Football Captain with Raheny GAA. He has represented Dublin at minor level with football and is also an experienced rugby player, having previously represented Leinster ‘A’ at schools level.
With such a great experience in sport, Sean has expertise with gym work and exercise prescription. He can help you to break down movement patterns with gym work and has the ability to figure out why you are getting pain.
Sean has further training in Pilates. He has completed Reformer Pilates training and uses this in clinic as part of rehabilitation from injury.
Sean is passionate about rehabilitation and has done previous research into player welfare and injury rates.
His aim is to have you back achieving your goals at the earliest possible moment and to prevent pain or injury from reoccurring.
